Boat Float

Today before lunch Mrs Hook took us out to the court to float our boats my boat carried 6 blocks and it suncked, I think my boat is good for floating at the beach not to see how much weight it can carry I came 1st in creativity Nathan came 1st in sportsmanship and Fergus came 1st in weight woohoo! I got 3000 points Nathan got 3000 points Fergus got 1500 points we all did pretty well we also had fun I thought it was a good idea to use sticks plus the ancient egyptains used reeds to make there boat so good idea if I do say myself.

Omar's Big Boat

Me and my mum started making my boat at 10'clock. We made it out simple things we used sticks,craft sticks, string and napkins. We finished the boat at midnight, we tested it and it FLOATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay! we tooked inside to dry it was awesome, it was made from nature .

Cookie

Once upon a time there was a giant biscuit it was massive.But there was a fat giant he was dumb so he tried to eat the cookie but he was facing the wrong way. The giant went to watch tv he liked watching short land street. The giant got bored of short land street so he wanted to eat the cookie but the cookie had gunk fu skills.  He got a knife and almost killed the giant. The giant called the lich on his i phone 6 the lech came 6 minutes late and missed the fight.

The giant screamed like a girl.

So millions of stupid girls came and wanted to be the giant ogres fat friends but they helped the giant destroy the cookie but bam went the cookie in the giants face it had kicked him in the bum to. The cookie shouted “ cool biscuits” and threw loads of cookie ninja stars and everyone went to hospital and the teen titans came and blasted the cookie. But the

cookie was way too strong it turned into hulk and destroyed everyone in the universe but the giant did not die so the battle continued.

The cookie got hungry and went to space and ate Jupiter. then ate uranus mars mercury really spicy hot but last but not least earth he ate that as well I don’t no how he managed to eat the universe. So the cookie went on its adventure and went in a black hole then they went into a magical world called baa baa black sheep.They met a sheep called baa baa black sheep he was the master The cookie hated this place but the master said “you can not leave otherwise I will put you in jail ” so the cookie went to jail it was made of candy so the cookie ate its way through. The master got a machine gun and tried to destroy the cookie. to be continued

Today baby Alice, came to room

sang. She was very happy.

The decisions she had to make were tough,

there were two toys in front of her. She

she was excited, of the bolster songs we sang to her.

The day the rabbits came to school

Today room 19 went to room 16 to see the fluffy rabbits. They were soft and fast, they can run like a cheetah. Their feet are like tiny ovals. They are very confident, and their teeth are like axes chomping into spinach. 

The rabbits are very clever, their eyes are as black as the night sky. They are friends one of them is lonely, the other one go's and gives him a wash. The rabbits are very brave and they're good at staying hidden.The 2 rabbits are really big, that means they've been fed well, and well loved.

They were lost so they came to room 16, room 16 is full of rabbit poop it looks like a small ball.   

                                                               

Wolves

A wolf is a wild dog with razor sharp teeth,and thick fur. It has good eyesight for seeing it's prey. Wolves can run at a fast pace, if a wolf is in the snow, its powerful legs won't let it sink in the snow.Most wolves live in packs, a pack is a group of wolves, a pack can go from 6 to 12 wolves. If a wolf pack lives in a place, then it's their territory. Wolves avoid contact with humans, humans may probably never see a wolf, but might hear one howling in the distance. All wolves howl at different times, but do you know what they mean ? If you don't I'll tell you. A short howl means 'good morning', a long howl means 'another pack has moved into their territory,and to stay away'. Many animals live in the same environment as wolves, here are just few; grizzly bears, coyotes, and cougars. If a cougar comes across a wolf the cougar will climb a tree for safety. If two packs come face to face the wolves will bare their sharp canines to scare the pack away. When a wolf sees its prey, he tells all the members in the pack to help, they all work together to kill their prey. The oldest wolf eats first, the omega witch is weak and eats last.

Lighthouse trouble

On a bright,rocky full moon in the dark black ghostly sky.Below them is a brick lighthouse, on a thick layer of,green grass on a dirty cliff,surrounded by dangerous rocks,and gleaming blue water. Next to an incredible height of cliffs lives a long cottage of villagers partying. Suddenly the lighthouse's beacon broke. Inside, the lighthouse lived a lighthouse keeper working hard. When he was in the middle of his work a strong gust of wind opened his shiny,clean window and the loud music coming through. "Stupid villagers" he thought to himself. As he slammed the window closed the old man got very angry with rage. Then another gust of wind opened the window. It was very dark now.Then he tripped over. Luckily he used a match to turn on his lantern. Suddenly he scampered up the stairs, and finally made it to the top, with his toolbox.He looked in the shiny,gold bulb. The bright light had gone out. Finally he lifted the bulb, he tripped over his toolbox and the fragile bulb, shattered into 65 pieces. Suddenly got an idea. Then he looked out the window.Gazing at the cottage below.In an instant he scampered down the stairs and opened the door,faster then a horse. He let out a gasp of joy.It  was the villagers coming towards him. They were caring bright lanterns into the lighthouse. They stood out on the the rails and the cliffs.The ship understood and turned right.

The Evil Snowmonster

 

Once their was to people called Mordecai and Rigby.It was a day were everyone got their certifacets  for doing good deeds.But Mordecai and Rigby did not get one because they have never done a good deed.So Mordecai came up and said " Oh man, come on Benson" "There's got to be something in there about us,"let me see" said Rigby."No,this is the book of park records it has been past to park manager after park manager".So at  night Mordecai and Rigby tip toed in to Benson's office and got the book of park records and Mordecai said "OK dude I think we shouldn't do this " "What com'on dude, don't you want to get a certificate" "Well yeah,but I don't want to do it like thief""so what!" said Rigby. They opened the book and looked for their names as soon as they saw what it said they were very upset.It said Mordecai and Rigby a slackeres,they are very lazy and not useful.So Mordecai got a pencil and flipped it over and used the rubber at the end to rub out all of that garbage."Good job dude,if anyone reads this

 they'll think we're complete tools" "OK dude,just write a good but fake thing about us in that book" said Mordecai "Alright " said Rigby. So Rigby got the pencil and wrote down... Mordecai and Rigby are always sweating from their hard work,Mordecai and Rigby cook delicious blueberry pancakes every morning,Mordecai and Rigby cleaned the floor and the dishes.Oh Mordecai and Rigby are the best employees ever.Skips broke his leg but it didn't matter because Mordecai and Rigby took him to the local hospital until they were attacked by an evil snow monster called snowballs he was 10feet tall and it... Suddenly Mordecai and Rigby heard the door knob creaking .At least Rigby heard it but didn't actually stop  writing "Hurry up dude your gonna get us caught" said Mordecai "just a second!"said Rigby "SHHHH" said Mordecai       and he dragged Rigby down from the top of the desk "Ou dude take it easy"they hid behind Benson's desk suddenly Benson had made it in Rigby started to whisper "SHH" said Mordecai "there it is " said Benson he looked around just to scan if Mordecai and Rigby got in then when he walked out he slammed the door behind himself "phew said " Mordecai and Rigby then they walked out closing the door quietly behind them selves In the  

morning Rigby ha smelled some  blueberry pancakes Mordecai and Rigby walked over to the burning saucepan Rigby picked up the  spatchela and said "Who made these pancakes " suddenly Benson came in to the kitchen and said "What are you slackers doing" "Ummmmmmmmm?" said Mordecai and Rigby then Benson saw Rigby holding the spatchela  and said "Mmmmm Rigby those smell great can I have a few" "Um sure" said Rigby in a confused book when Benson had a seat and sat down he looked under his chair and the floors were clean "Did you guys clean the floors" "Yup" said Mordecai and and Rigby "And the dishes" "Yeah" said Mordecai and Rigby in a happier voice "You know guys I some hard working employees to help me with some work  wanna do it " said Benson "Yup " said Mordecai and Rigby so Benson led them out side to a big pile of rocks "you guys need to move these rocks from there all the way over there" "OK" said Mordecai and Rigby so they started doing it and when they had 5 more rocks ... Rigby said "Com'on dude we've been doing this for 

hours this isn't an appreciation this is torture" suddenly Rigby saw Pops coming on a golf-cart "Oh Mordecai and Rigby did you hear that there is going to be a snow blizzard cheerio"  "sounds like more crazy talk from Pops" said Rigby "Yeah" said Mordecai suddenly there was a giant snow blizzard then they heard a blood-curling scream in the distant it was Skips he had broken his leg they got him in to a golf cart that's when they were attacked by Snowballs he screamed in Mordecai's face almost causing his soul to come out. Mordecai come out with lawn mower to suck Snowballs. The Rigby knew how to defeat Snowballs, they had to write good ending in the book of park records. Mordecai wrote as fast as he could. Then Benson came out and said in a angry voice "CLEAAAAAAAAAAAAN  THISSSSSSSS MESSSSS UPPPPPP" "What mess" said mordecai "UHHH" said Benson "Just clean up this mess or your fired com'on Skips" said Benson.     

Beanrock lighthouse

Bean rock is a lighthouse ,near Waitemata  harbor,it is in Auckland, Devenport . It  is  very visible from Tamika drive.Bean rock lighthouse was built on the 1st of July in 1965. Bean rock is a wave washed lighthouse.This means its in the middle of the sea.

Bean rock lighthouse is built on heavy rocks and surrounded by sea in the morning Bean rock is a marker and by night a beacon.It guides ships from dangerous reefs and rocks.There is a legend relating to the rock.

According to this legend Tarakumukumu took his brother in-law Kapetaua fishing. Tarakumukumu told Kapetaua he would return to collect him. Suddenly tied rose up and Kapetaua was marooned on the rock. Kapetaua never forgot how Tarakumukumu left him marooned on , the rock he collected a huge force and defeated Tarakumukumu .The rock is called Te Toka o Kapetaua

In 1870  a local builder called William Cameron he was the one who built bean rock.It is hexagonal  cottage it has a veranda.There were 4 bedrooms,Kitchen,the "longdrop" it is a toilet that leads all the waste down to the sea below.

The visit

Dear diary,

Today baby Alice came in for R.O.E.As soon as Mrs Webber put down baby Alice she rolled over.WE were startled.

She could hold her head up.It was incredible when she got excited, and looked like she was flying.

When she got tired of holding her head up.It looked like her arms and legs collapsed under her.

She was making a lot of noise and, she wasn't just doing that to annoy us.But she was communicating with us. We talked about why she had a bold spot on the back of her head; It was because.She is sleeping a lot , and her hair comes off.

Paperareoplanes

Paper  planes  are awesome  good planes can fly for a long distance.Others can fly 3 centimeters above the ground and more can do lots of loops and some do cool tricks that are epic.One person invented a machine that you would put on a paper plane and control it with a app on your i phone.So it would fly forever that's if your arm can take the chance.

Dear diary, 

Today is terrible. I almost got hit in the face. A bazooka shell zoomed past my  face. But I dodged it  because I don't  want to die. My friend lit off a dynamite to kill somebody. I have been in this garbage dump for 3 years.  I got sick but nothing happened because i'm brave. then the Germans shot the ship that I was on but I survived ,but my Chief Officer Commander  died and I cried. The trenches are muddy and rocky and plain old boring. The only food I have is chocolate biscuits. I ate one it tastes nice.One of my friends got wounded so he had to go to hospital but he said he was coming back if the docter said he was fine.

ANZACs

 The ANZAC's are  walking across a  deserted-bridge, and the crushed trees are like the ghost's home. Around  them is nothing  but a lagoon and piles and piles of  mud and dirt.Trillions of soldiers are  on their boats, and loads more behind them. The soldiers are excited to go to war.I think they thought it was going to be a  short adventure. But because  millions  of soldiers got killed. No way do they want to do that again. Their are graves back in Europe

ANZAC service

Today was really sad, we went to the hall to think about the ANZAC's a few people were crying. Kyle said students please stand up for the national anthem. We sang it then Kyle said please be seated.It was Brenna's turn after, she stood up and talked about what year 4's do each year about ANZAC day.Clement sang  a song called Flanders Fields, it went like this In Flanders fields the poppies blow between the crosses,row on row,that mark our place;and in the sky the larks, still bravely singing , fly scarce heard amid the guns below.There is loads more to that poem. Charlize was next,but I forget what she said.Eric was next he said the soilders name with Caleb .

letter from the trenches

Dear ,dad

When we arrived in Europe we built trenches.It was full of, rats and bugs but we just had to live with it.I went on the front line seven times, I got really annoyed.I heard all of the guns and shells morning,and night.Ten shells dropped into our trench,three men got injured,on the front line one of my chums got killed everyone was really sad.Dad I know how much you hate loud noises,but the gun fire almost gave me an ear infection.Wish I could say to the commander I want to go home.We are also eating vile food,today's dinner was terrible stew.

Squash

Today room 19 went to learn squash.Our coach was called Manu. To play squash we had to start, with the basics . First Mrs:Hook and Manu split us, into two groups . Mrs:Hook's group took a yellow squash ball. We through it in the air,let it bounce and catch it ten times . We had to bounce the ball ten more times on the wall. The Manu took Mrs:Hook's group and we had to, balance the ball. But if we dropped the ball we won . Then we had to pick up racket and hit it in the micro squash court. I learnt that a black squash ball is , harder than a yellow squash ball . I am also looking forward for next week.

camp maynard

On Thursday we went to creepy Camp Maynard . I was excited because our big group did the deep,dark and mysterious Nature trail it was epic  because we  had to find a lot of wooden numbers. All  of a sudden we thought we just found a dark black figure 16 inches away running around like a loony I felt shocked and afraid then I remember seeing an image in a book called Monsters . Boing I jumped to my feet and told Clement and Caleb that it was

My Porcupine

I can really remember having the best soft , warm porcupine ever . His name is called Mr :Kill he was the  best and coolest present ever given to me . He was special because dad smashed him on to my face in the morning, he made a silly talk that sounded like Mr: Kill . He did this to wake me up . When I out grew out , the furry toy I felt sad and mad . But at , least I slept with a toy cheetah. 

Soccer

On monday the 23 of february I went to east coast bays soccer club . Cruz was the captain for the
red team ,Eric was the captain of the , yellow team. It started off Cruz and Joll as stricker for the
red team . Joll past the ball to Cruz . Then Cruz passed the ball to me I kicked the ball as , hard  as
I could . BAM ! I crossed the ball along the field to pass the ball   to Cruz ,Cruz just smashed the ball into the goal .We lost two nil.

My sporty family

My family loves to do sport . We do it every day . After 3 o'clock we go to the soccer field to practice .  Me and my brother play rugby in the backyard . My mum does squats in the house , my dad walks around the block two times .And when dad goes to the gym me,my brother sister and mum . Go down to oteha valley school to play . Yesterday we went in squares five times .My annoying little sister was screaming . Mum carried on by herself . Because dad took us home .And boy mum did a lot of walking.
